“Lulu has become so incredibly insufferable this past year,” Cindy Devine writes at CC’s Soap Saloon. “Why? Why take someone with SOOOOOO much potential, and SUCH a rich, complicated history and make her into a character so completely unlikable? … There was a time – not all that long ago – when I could have never imagined rooting for Maxie over Lulu, but friends … that time has arrived!”

Amy’s Weekly Reader appears at about.com. She wonders about the writers’ reasoning behind Michael’s shooting: “If GH writers always showed consequences for the mobster’s actions, wouldn’t Jason be in prison or at least been in jail about 50 times for as many people as he has assassinated?”
The New York Times is no fan of Tamara Braun's movie “Little Chenier,” calling Braun's character "a straggle-haired waif." About the movie, the Times writes: “ `Little Chenier' is an overripe soap in which brooding and sweating substitute for energy and structure. Slipping in and out of Cajun dialect (helpfully subtitled), the movie may boast regional authenticity — and the poignancy of a location devastated by Hurricane Rita just weeks after filming ended in 2005 — but that doesn’t excuse the death-march pacing and Southern Gothic performances." A reader comment calls Braun "an anemic lead actress" and says, "...too many holes in the story and an ending with too many loose ends unfortunately makes this a frustrating film."
